3D Printing in Construction

3D printing is one of the fastest-growing technologies all over the world. 3D printing is the manufacturing process of making the three dimensional solid objects from digital life. The material used to produce the objects are different types like hard plastic, metal, concrete, carbon fiber, food ingredients, etc. There are different types of 3D printing technologies, they are:-

Stereolithography:

The Stereolithography is the process in which the 3D design is uniquely printing machine and the Stereolithography. Also, the advantages of Stereolithography are its speed and the functional parts which can be manufactured in a day.

The Digital Light Processing:

Digital Light Processing is a new way to display and project information because the Digital Light Processing creates the final link of the display digital visual information. Digital Light Processing is the technology which is based on the optical semiconductor called Digital Micro Mirror Device (DMD). The Digital Light Processing 3D printing is the fastest besides it prints the objects with high resolution.

Fused Deposition Modeling:

Fused Deposition Modeling is the process under layer manufacturing, as a result, The layered manufacturing follows the building components by the collection of material.

Selective Laser Sintering:

The Selective Laser Sintering is the process in which it is used as high-powered lasers and also to the selective melt and the fuse powdered thermoplastics. Selective Laser Sintering is used as the high-energy laser beam to fuse the dirt directly into the complex.

The Selective Laser Melting:

Selective Laser Melting is the machine that was first introduced by Fockele and Schwarze of Germany in the year 1999. All the support of Fraunhofer Institute of Laser Technology. Selective Laser Melting is currently popular for the fabrication of metallic parts. The limitations of SLM Technology for the fabrication of ceramic materials are:-
~ The effect of balling to the low conductivity of the ceramic material.
~ Above all huge temperature variation during the extensive cracking.

Electron Beam Melting:

The Electron Beam Melting is the manufacturing process in which, as a result, it is thick with the properties equal to the materials which are built on the layer. The Electron Beam Melting process is perfect for the direct manufacturing of the complex parts in the low volumes.

Laminated Object manufacturing:

Laminated Object Manufacturing is related to processing techniques. The thickness of layers of material is in the range from 0.001 – 0.005 inches.

Sand printing:

3D printing is the recent explosion of interest in the family of technologies. The 3D printing technologies produce other traditional methods which can cost beneficial.
